The Educational Director is responsible for the coordination and development of age and developmentally appropriate curriculum, staff development & supervision, compliance with state & city regulations, and overseeing the Center's day-to-day operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study (Master's Degree, preferred)
• Teaching license or certificate valid for services in early childhood or childhood grades pursuant to New York State Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) regulations
• At least two years of lead teacher experience in a program for children less than six years of age
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn and use new software and systems
• Demonstrated work history of good human relations

GROUP TEACHERS (Full-time)
The Group Teacher is responsible for day-to-day operation of the classroom including its physical environment, curriculum planning and implementation, supervision and evaluation of each child, record keeping, and supervision of other staff including volunteers
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s Degree, preferred)
*New York State Teacher Certification
*Emergency COVID-19 Certification for teachers OR Study Plan in Early Childhood Education can take the place of New York State Teacher Certification.
ASSISTANT TEACHERS (Full-time)
Under the supervision of the Group Teacher, the Assistant Teacher supports the delivery of instructional services in the classroom.
Associate Degree OR Sixty (60) college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field
High School Diploma AND Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
High School Diploma AND Assistant Teacher Certification
INFANT CARE GROUP LEADERS (Full-time)
The Infant Care Group Leader engages and provides direct care to children aged 6 weeks to 12
months old in a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their overall development and
attainment of age-appropriate milestones.
Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and a study plan leading to an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education within seven years
High School Diploma; nine college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; two
years' experience caring for children; and a study plan leading to Associate’s Degree in Early
Childhood Education within seven years
High School Diploma and five years of supervised experience in an infant/toddler classroom
TEACHER AIDES (Part-time) / INFANT CARE AIDES (Full-time)
Under the supervision of a Group Teacher or Infant Care Group Leader, an Aide assists in the classroom by performing such tasks as may be assigned, including individualized support for children with special needs and maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
High School Diploma
Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate within two years of hire
FAMILY WORKER AND BOOKKEEPER (Full – time)

The dual role of a Family Worker and Bookkeeper is key to strong family engagement and successful operations of the Center.
As a Family Worker, the successful candidate will be responsible for interviewing applicants for daycare services to determine eligibility, maintaining records, making referrals to appropriate agencies, and supporting families. The Family Worker serves as a liaison between the Center, the parents, and the community.
As a Bookkeeper, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a complete set of records of all financial transactions of the daycare center. This includes collecting fees from parents, monitoring children’s attendance, preparing reports, and other related duties.
The Bookkeeper also keeps track of the staff members’ attendance, supports the payroll process, and assumes administrative responsibilities to support the Center Director.
- High School Diploma; Associate Degree, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English; strong network in the community, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn and use new software, systems, and portals
- Demonstrated work history of good human relations
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
- At least one year of related experience
We provide the needed training and support for the Family Worker and Bookkeeper to succeed in this role.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR – AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM (Full-time)
Master’s Degree in Social Science, Liberal Arts or related field
Two years of related experience
