Lisa McDale is the Educational Director at our Sutter Avenue Center in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.
Ms. McDale is an accomplished and innovative career educator with a passionate commitment to increasing learning outcomes for all children and integrating the learning process with real-world experiences in the natural and community environment. She brings to her position an extensive portfolio of training and expertise in the management and implementation of the early childhood learning curriculum, together with a personal and professional dedication to reinforcing the confidence and self-esteem of her students.
Ms. McDale is a graduate of the SUNY Empire State College where she obtained the Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Human Services, and the Touro College Graduate School of Education, where she obtained the Master of Science degree in General and Special Education. She also holds the New York State teacher certification in Early Childhood General and Special Education (Birth – 2nd Grade). In addition to her prior classroom experience, she has also previously served as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher and provider of Early Intervention Services. Ms. McDale is a member of the Autism Society of America, the National Association of Professional Women, and a veteran of the United States Navy.
